WW1 German Prisoners of War
These PoWs held at Norton in WW2 were housed in the camp on the west side of Meadowhead. The footprint of many of the huts here is preserved by the footprint of houses erected on Robert Road in the inter-war years.

PoWs held at Norton in WW2 were housed in a camp on Cinderhill Lane near to Jordanthorpe House. Some of the buildings covered the area underneath the Jordanthorpe Lane/Norton Lane roundabout on Bochum Parkway.
